Shelley Drive Animal Clinic offers microchipping with Home Again chips! A small needle is used to insert a little chip, smaller than a grain of rice, in between your pet’s shoulder blades. Each chip has a unique code that is only assigned to your pet. Also, we file the paperwork so you don’t have to!
Microchipping has reunited many pets with their owners. Typically, shelters, rescues, veterinarian clinics, etc. will scan any new animals that come through their doors in hopes of finding a microchip.
If you find a dog or cat, feel free to bring it by and let us scan it. If there is a microchip, we’ll help get in touch with the owners and act as an exchange facility if you need us to.
